Look up, and the whole sky turns to fire. Autumn Rising carries the glow of a forest in peak color: blazing reds, golden yellows, and burnt oranges crowd the treetops while patches of bright blue sky break through the leaves. Dark, branching limbs reach across the scene and give the composition depth and movement.

Originally painted in 2019 by artist Celeste Ferreras, this design captures the texture of the brushwork in every dab of color. Translated onto 100% silk, the painting becomes wearable art that can be draped, tied, or framed against a wall.

Wear it as a shawl or wrap, knot it at the neck, tie it onto a handbag, or fold it into a headscarf. Its warm palette pairs well with neutrals, denim, and deep autumn tones, and the blue accents make it easy to wear year-round.

Fabric (all 100% silk):

• Mulberry Silk Habotai (approx. 9 momme): Delicate, silky-soft, and airy.
• Lightweight Silk Satin Charmeuse (approx. 11.5 momme): Fluid drape, soft lustrous sheen.
• Silk Twill (approx. 12 momme): Smooth with a bit more structure; holds its shape well.
• Silk Satin Charmeuse (approx. 19.5 momme): Heavier and glossier, with a rich front luster and matte back for extra print depth and a dramatic drape.
  
  

  Momme: the traditional unit for measuring silk's weight and density. One momme equals about 4.34 grams per square meter (gsm). The higher the number, the heavier, denser, and more substantial the fabric.

  • • Under 12 momme, Light: airy, fluid, sheer
    • 12–16 momme, Medium: balanced weight, everyday wear
    • Over 16 momme, Heavy: substantial, opaque, structured

Size:

• 35.5" x 35.5": a versatile square for neck styling, hair, and bag accents.
• 45.3" x 45.3": a generous size for fuller wraps, shoulder drapes, and head scarves.

Care instructions
Dry clean or gently hand wash in cold water using a mild silk-safe detergent. Do not bleach, wring, or tumble dry. Lay flat to dry away from direct sunlight. Cool iron on reverse with a protective cloth if needed.
